Worming
We advise monthly worming until your kitten is six months old. Thereafter your cat should be wormed 3 monthly.
Flea treatment
All cats get fleas! These days with the advent of extremely safe and effective treatments the best approach is prevention. It is fair to say that since these products have gained widespread use we see a fraction of the skin problems we used to. We advise, for routine flea prevention, you use Advantage monthly.
Microchipping
This is a permanent identification method whereby a very small microchip is put under the skin near the shoulder of your cat/kitten. This is done, at any age, with a hypodermic needle. The cost is £15.63.
Insurance
We strongly advise that you take out pet insurance. This is done independently from the clinic.
