Puppy Care
Getting a new pet is one of the most exciting things for people. This is not going to set out the basic care as there are many excellent sources of information regarding introducing a new puppy into your household and how to go about training.
The following is what we recommend in relation to veterinary care:

Vaccination
Vaccination can be started from as early as eight weeks of age in a puppy. We do advise that the puppy has been in your possession for a few days before the first injection is given. A second injection is given 2-4 weeks following the first vaccination injection. It is not safe to take your puppy for a walk until 10 days after the second injection. Before this time you can take your puppy into the back garden unless foxes or other dogs have access to this area.

Annual boosters are given to ensure continued protection.

Worming
We advise monthly worming until your puppy is six months of age. There after your dog should be wormed every 3 months.

Lung Worm

We recommend treating your dog with Panacur four times a year.
