Flea treatment
All dogs get fleas! These days, with the advent of extremely safe and effective treatments, the best approach is prevention. It is fair to say that since these products have gained widespread use we see a fraction of the skin problems we used to see. We advise, for routine flea prevention, you use Advantage monthly.
Microchipping
This is a permanent identification method whereby a very small microchip is put under the skin near the shoulder of your dog. This is done, at any age, with a hypodermic needle. The cost is £15.63.
Neutering
We advise this for both male and female dogs. Bitches can be done from six months and dogs from nine months
Insurance
We strongly advise that you take out pet insurance. This is done independently from the clinic.
